Features

The VLS hybrids feature a lightweight clubhead and shaft to increase swing speed and distance, combined with draw-bias weighting that helps eliminate slices and promote a straighter ball flight. A centered hosel and upright lie angle make it easier to square the face and find the sweet spot, while a built-in alignment guide, flatter sole, and straight leading edge help you aim accurately and strike the ball cleanly from any lie.

Shaft Shift Technology – Easy to Square, Nearly Impossible to Slice

I’ve now worked with Josh on two clubs – this one, and the VLS Maxvert Driver.

If I’ve learned anything, it’s that the tiniest detail can make a massive difference.

Exhibit A: The maxvert 1 Hybrid’s hitting area is 3.11 inches across, compared with about 3.5 inches for a standard hybrid.

So what’s the big deal?

That fraction of an inch moves the Maxvert’s hosel (and the center of its shaft) just a hair closer to the clubhead’s center – so it requires less effort to square the face at impact.

That means it’s easier to stripe deadly accurate tee shots and flag-rattling approaches – and darn near impossible to hit a slice.

Brilliant, huh?

Perimeter Payload – Effortless Draws, On Command

We “slice-proofed” the maxvert 1 Hybrid even further by adding a small amount of weight to its heel.

It’s called “Perimeter Payload,” and it effectively makes the toe area lighter – so it’s effortless to turn over through the hitting zone.

That’s your ticket to Draw City.

Extra weight on the perimeter also pumps up the Maxvert’s MOI (moment of inertia), so it’s supremely forgiving when you make a less-than-perfect swing.
