The “Connection” to Your Best Golf Ever
New Vertical Line Swing Stacker Gets Your Arms and Body Moving Together for Powerful, Slice-Free Consistency
Every golfer has a frustrating issue they’d love to fix.
What’s yours?
Puny drives?
A terminal slice?
Fat or thin iron shots?
Inconsistent ball-striking?
Hmmm… A sampling of the above… maybe even all of them?
Along the same lines, most of us have a fatal swing flaw we can’t seem to shake.
For instance, a “flying right elbow,” an over-the-top downswing or the horrible “chicken wing.”
So many miss-hits.
So many swing faults.
It’s hard to know what to attack first.
It’s even harder figuring out how to attack it.
OK, time for some good news:
I’ve figured it out both the what and the how for you.
The what is actually two parts:
Any miss-hit you can think of – slice, hook, shanks… you name it.
Any swing flaw you happen to have – an off-track takeaway, poor weight shift, out-to-in club path... Again, pick your poison.
As for the how to fix it, that’s also a two-parter:
By keeping your arms properly “connected” from setup through finish.
By practicing with my new training aid, which is incredibly easy to use – and delivers benefits almost instantly.
Now, I have an idea what you might be thinking:
How can keeping my arms together solve so many swing problems and cure so many miss-hits?
Great question.
The short answer is this:
When your arms work in unison, they bring along the rest of your body, while…
… Ensuring your swing stays on plane, and…
… Practically guaranteeing a square clubface moving with maximum speed at impact.
There’s a little more to it than that, which I’ll explain in a moment.
First, I want to show you the training aid I’m so excited about.
Hi, I’m PGA Professional Todd Kolb.
I’ve been teaching golfers of all ages and abilities for over 25 years, and it’s been my good fortune to work with a major title winner and an LPGA Tour winner. I’m also a four-time Golf Digest Best in State Instructor and a Minnesota PGA Teacher of the Year.
OK, enough about me. I want to talk about what the Vertical Line Swing Stacker can do for you.
And by you, I mean any golfer, from beginner to low handicapper, from mere tyke to octogenarian.
You may be familiar with the concept of a “connected” swing. (I’ll explain it shortly.)
You might have seen – or even tried – training aids that work on this technique.
I have, too. Tons of them.
Which is exactly why I decided to build my own.
In my experience, every connection trainer out there has a major flaw.
Some are uncomfortable to wear.
Some are hard to put on and take off.
Some are bulky and awkward to use.
Some flop around in the breeze.
And some, well, they just don’t work.
My team and I took all that into account when designing the Vertical Line Swing Stacker.
It had to be:
Easy to get into and out of
So lightweight and comfortable, you’d barely know it was there
Unrestrictive to the swing
We didn’t want to make things too complicated, either, so the Swing Stacker had to simplify confusing concepts in a way other training aids don’t.
I feel 100% confident that it does just that.
OK, I want to briefly discuss the idea of a connected swing.
The most basic definition:
A swing in which your lead arm moves in unison with your upper body and chest.
In other words, the lead arm doesn’t outpace the shoulders on the backswing or downswing.
It remains connected.
It also stays close to the trail arm, especially at the elbows.
And what are the benefits of a connected swing?
There are so, so many.
For starters, a connected swing is efficient and powerful.
There’s no wasted motion, and you can generate big distance without taking the club back for miles.
An efficient swing is also accurate, repeatable and low-maintenance.
That, my friend, is…
The key to shot-after-shot, round-after round consistency.
As I mentioned, there are other training aids that promote a connected swing.
Yet none can match the Vertical Line Swing Stacker for ease of use and effectiveness.
You may have tried drills, too, like the classic towel-under-the-arms drill. But that really only works with shorter clubs and half-swings.
To get your swing truly connected, throughout the bag, the Swing Stacker is the only way to go.
Let’s take a quick look at the Swing Stacker and how it works.
There are two pieces, one for each arm, made of lightweight yet durable polyurethane.
The red one goes on your lead arm (the left arm for a righty, and vice versa), the blue one on your trail arm. The Stacker pieces provide easily visible cues we call Bi-Color Feedback, which guides your swing into the perfect positions.
Just slip the adjustable band around your forearm and tighten until it won’t slide down.
Repeat with the other arm.
Next, press the pieces together using the velcro attachments. This “Crush-and-Go” design means you don’t have to waste precious practice time getting yourself rigged up.
That’s it. You’re ready to roll!
As you swing, the primary goal is to keep the pieces from pulling apart. Also:
Taking the club back, you want to keep the blue Stacker on top of the red one. This prevents over-rotation (which opens the clubface and causes a slice) and puts the club in a square position for the whole backswing.
Coming down, focus on keeping the blue Stacker underneath the red one. This puts the club on the coveted inside-to-out path and all but eliminates any chance of slicing.
If your arms separate during the swing – for example, if your right elbow “flies” out on the backswing, or your left arm forms a “chicken wing” at impact – the Stacker pieces will separate, too.
It even forces you to keep your arms and body moving together right to the finish, which requires a proper weight shift onto your front foot and full extension through the shot.
Once you’ve hit the ball, just pull your arms apart and the pieces easily disconnect.
See – I told you it was simple.
(Note: When you purchase the Vertical Line Swing Stacker, you’ll get free videos demonstrating how to use it for the full swing.)
Next, let’s go over:
The three major problems the Swing Stacker will help you eliminate – once and for all.
The list starts where you might expect:
1.Slicing
The Swing Stacker teaches you to maintain a square clubface on the takeaway – birthplace of many slices.
You’ll also stop coming over the top on the downswing, because it’s practically impossible to “cast” the club from the top without separating the Stacker pieces.
By keeping the blue beneath the red, you’ll automatically start approaching the ball on an inside path.
Bye-bye, ugly slice. Hello, lovely draw.
2. Lack of distance
When you eliminate a slice, you get longer. That’s obvious.
Even if you’re not a slicer, though, the Swing Stacker will boost your distance by improving your turn.
To move the arms in tandem without separating the pieces, you have to turn the shoulders as well. Otherwise, the right elbow will pull away from the left.
Shoulder rotation is arguably the No. 1 key in generating power. The bigger the turn, the bigger your drives. And by synchronizing your arms and upper body, the Swing Stacker will improve your accuracy, too.
3.Poor contact (fat, thin, toe and heel shots)
When your turn is in-sync…
Your weight shift is, too…
Which leads to a natural, well-timed release (without the “flippy” hands that cause so many miss-hits).
In addition…
Your balance improves…
As does your tempo.
When you’ve got those ingredients in place, you’ll make solid contact far, far, FAR more often than not.
That means longer, straighter shots…
From the driver through the wedges.
In fact…
You can even use the Swing Stacker to improve your chipping and pitch shots.
Add it all up and you’re quickly gaining strokes from tee to green.
How many training aids can help you do that?
Not many, that’s for sure.
Now, on the off chance the Vertical Line Swing Stacker doesn’t work like I say it will? No worries.
